Our Beginning

Founded in 2005, BUILD Real Estate began as a small team of passionate architects and real estate professionals with a shared vision: to transform the residential development landscape in Malaysia by creating thoughtfully designed living spaces that prioritize both form and function.

Our founders, John Chen and Sarah Wong, met while working on a high-profile commercial project in Kuala Lumpur. Recognizing a gap in the residential market for developments that truly considered the needs of modern homeowners, they decided to combine their expertise to create something different.

The company's first project, a boutique development of 30 units in Petaling Jaya, set the foundation for our reputation for quality, innovation, and attention to detail that continues to define our work today.

BUILD Real Estate was established in Kuala Lumpur with a team of just 5 people, driven by a vision to revolutionize the Malaysian real estate market with thoughtful, innovative designs.

2007

First Project Completed

Our first residential development, The Oasis, was completed and sold out within 3 months, establishing our reputation for quality and innovative design in the market.

2010

Expansion and Growth

BUILD expanded to 25 employees and opened a second office in Penang, allowing us to extend our reach and impact across multiple regions of Malaysia.

2015

Sustainability Initiative
